Most important things in life

Most important things in life Hello, everyone. My name is Astrid Sofia Bermudez Amaya, and today I want to share with you what the fourth most important things in life are. First, all of us should be able to cook or prepare at least one type of food, as it is essential for all humans, and we cannot live without it. Second, a place everyone should visit is Valledupar, especially the Diomedes Díaz and Kaleth Morales statue. Third, I think everyone should know about Martin Elias since he was an amazing singer, and he made history in the vallenato music, incorporating new sounds, great lyrics, and following in his father's footsteps while creating his own career. Fourth, I strongly believe that none of us would be able to live without the internet because we have already built our lives through it, and it will be so hard to be without it and not be able to share and see what happens around the world every day by just one click.

The Magic of Music Festivals: A Guide for First-Timers

The Magic of Music Festivals: A Guide for First-Timers Music festivals are some of the most exciting cultural events in the world. They bring together people of all ages to celebrate music, art, food, and unforgettable moments. Whether you love rock, pop, electronic, reggae, or indie music, there is always a festival designed just for you. If you’re planning to attend a festival soon, it’s a great idea to think ahead—not just about what to pack, but also about what you want to experience once you’re there. Below, you’ll find a set of guiding questions that can help you (and your friends!) imagine the perfect festival experience.

Incident or injury

Incident or injury Last week, I burned my hand while taking something hot out of the oven. I wasn’t paying enough attention and forgot to use oven mitts, so the tray was much hotter than I expected. It hurt a lot, and I had to put my hand under cold water for several minutes. From this accident, I learned that I should always use oven mitts and check if the tray is cool before touching it. I also realized how important it is to stay focused when cooking and to be more careful when handling hot dishes to avoid getting hurt again.
My chores I have to do the laundry almost every day, which is kind of boring, and I also have to cook for my sister and me, but I only do it occasionally, and I love it because it's really interesting and I get to know new recipes every day. I also love walking the dog. I always have a good time while doing it, since I am breathing fresh air, hanging out with my dog, and enjoying the view.

Things I loved when I was younger

Things I loved when I was younger When I was younger, I really wanted to have a puppy as a pet because they are very cute, loyal and they love playing all the time, saddly, no matter how much I beg my parents to buy me a puppy they answer was the same, they didn't want me to have it because it requires a lot of responsability and I was too young for that.  Now that I'm older, I finally have a little puppy called "Bruno," which I love very much. It is the best; it's tiny and loves running around the house all the time.

MY FAVORITE PICTURE This is my favorite picture. It was taken on my third birthday, and my parents invited some of my relatives and friends to celebrate this special occasion. It was very important for them, and after that, we went to church.  I was very happy, excited, it was one of the best days of my life because I received many gifts and I was surrounded by people I loved and cared about. - Astrid Sofia Bermudez Amaya

My new hobby: Playing soccer

My new hobby Have you ever started a new hobby and felt so excited that you couldn’t wait to share it? Have you tried something recently that made you feel more active, more connected, or just happier? Well, that’s exactly what happened to me—I’ve started playing soccer, and it has quickly become my new favorite pastime. I’ve always enjoyed watching soccer on TV, but stepping onto the field myself has been a whole new adventure. The moment I lace up my shoes and hear the sound of the ball being kicked around, I feel energized. Soccer is more than just running after a ball; it’s about teamwork, strategy, and pushing yourself to improve every single time you play. One of the best parts is the feeling of being outdoors, moving constantly, and sharing the game with others. Whether I’m practicing my dribbling, learning new footwork, or just playing a casual match with friends, soccer keeps me active and motivated. It challenges my body and my mind at the same time. I also love how socc...
